QUALIFICATIONS FOR
THE REGISTRATION OF ARCHITECTS
The qualifications obtained from any of the institutions specified in this list shall qualify an architect for registration by the Council, that is –
All credentials must be certificates (O'Levels, First Degree, Second Degree). No statement of result is accepted.
The registration forms must be submitted with the certificates listed above, including certificate.
A letter of Introduction from your employer, and a letter of Character Certification from a registered architect, or a clergy, or a civil servant in the level of a director are required.
All sponsors and referees shall be financially up to date and must have attained FIVE (5) years post ARCON registration. SPONSORS MUST BE DIFFERENT FROM REFEREES.
Forms must be completed in Block Letters except when writing your email address.
Business address is your Place of Current Employment.
If names are not arranged in the same sequence on all credentials, a sworn affidavit shall be required.
Current copy of sponsors' Practice License must be submitted.
All information must be carefully checked by applicant as true and correct before submitting the form.
Please Note:
Current Council member are however excluded from filling the sponsors columns.
ARCON insist on proper school’s address.
Applicants who study abroad should upload their course transcripts to their certificates and a formal letter authorizing their school of study to send transcript(s) to ARCON. (You are required to upload proof of payment of your Transcript Verification Receipt for either or both Degrees subject to Review by the Council).
ARCON insists on candidates possessing the minimum requirement for studying Architecture as follows:
Credits in G.C.E “O” level or its equivalent to include: Mathematics, Physics, English Language plus any other two subjects but preferably from the following:- Chemistry, Economics, Geography and Technical Drawing
