The applicant must be of Nigerian Origin, and must have obtained their First Degrees, Second Degrees and NYSC discharge certificates from ARCON/NUC accredited Universities.
If you are of Nigerian Origin with a foreign Degree (1st and Second Degree) can also apply.
However, the applicant must have written a Formal letter giving the Council the permission to request for his/her transcript from the School attended and also checking with the country of schools origin to know if the school is recognized by the Architects Governing Body.

The Forms can be submitted to either Abuja office or Lagos office.
Your documents can be sited by a council member ONLY.

Only Registered Architects can apply for Firm Registration Forms.
The Firm Registration Form cost N20,000.00.

As you already have an ARCON number, you only need to reactivate your account via the portal login page
To register with ARCON, click on the register with ARCON button on the website to begin registration.
You will need jpeg formats of your passport photograph and your signature for the account reclaim process, and if you are reclaiming your firm account, you will need your Firm registration certificate.

When you want to make the payment again.
1. Copy the reference number of the payment you tried to make (go to payment log page)
2. Click on the Pay A Biller link on Remita portal
3. Once the page loads, click on PAY E-INVOICE tab,
4. Then paste the RRR number and submit to payment

ARCON Project Registration Number (APRN), and it is a mandatory registration number issued to all architects practicing in Nigeria, for each of their projects, to certify that these projects are being executed by Nigerian citizens, who are fully registered and financially current architects
Only fully registered and financially current architects and firms are eligible to prepare, produce and submit architectural building plans for approvals/ implementation
Start by visiting the APRN Portal, read the instructions there in, then fill the application below the page.
You can get stamps from any of our offices after you must have registered for APRN, and paid for the stamps through Remita. Please present a copy of both payment receipt for the stamps at the office.
Your financial status is displayed on your dashboard when you sign into your account on the portal.
Steps to pay for full Registration Fee:
1. Go to Remita Portal on mobile phone or PC.
2. Click on TSA & States
3. Click on FGN: Federal Government of Nigeria.
4. Type ARCON on "who do you want to pay"
5. On name of service/purpose, select REFUND
6. ON GIFMIS Code- ( If unknown contact MDA ), type 1234
7. DISCRIPTION: Input ARCON Full Registration Fee or any other relevant description as it may apply.
8. Then pay via DEBIT CARD or BANK TRANSFER
9. Lastly, payment receipt is then sent from Remita to your mobile e-mail address boldly bearing ARCHITECTS REGISTRATION COUNCIL OF NIGERIA ( ARCON ) - 025301100100

Once you are signed into your account on the portal, your license fee for the year will be displayed on the screen, which may also include other outstanding payments.
In cases of wrong financial record on your account, please send a mail to the Finance Dept. attaching receipts as evidence to clarify your financial status.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR
The qualifications obtained from any of the institutions specified in this paragraph shall qualify an architect for registration by the Council, that is –
A degree or diploma awarded after a minimum of 5 years full time course from any of the Nigerian Universities or Colleges approved by the Council;
Any Commonwealth Association of Architects recognized schools;
Any foreign schools which have produced accepted Nigerian Architects; and
Such other qualifications as may be approved, from time to time, by the Council. Download the guideline to read more
